Rhapsody In Green
Welcome to Rhapsody In Green, the only site where you can find all you liked about the old Hockenheimring, one of the world's greatest racing circuits, that's been dug up and replaced by another modern, coldly-calculated and most boring racetrack ever. The site has been here for almost 4 years now and I am very thankful for all your support!
On this website you
won't find ecstatic people in red yelling "Michael, Michael!" and trying to
break the world record in making Mexican waves. You won't find much about
Michael either, because he is not really important for this story, sorry.
On this website you won't find any pitbabes or Verona Feldbusch.
On this site you won't find Kai Ebel and his continuous nagging.
On this site no one is killing trees to replace them with a track and then
killing a track to replace it with trees.
On this site no one wants to have 120 000 people all the time and better view!
Racing is what matters!
So, if you're a victim of globalization, cloning and Bernie's Formula One, I'd
suggest you to go to the official site.
Otherwise, stay here and let's be nostalgic together!
You can help the webmaster by adding memories, links, video files, race comments
& reviews. Your help will be appreciated and your name will be mentioned.
UPDATE: 29th January 2006 During the past year and a half, I have received many many mails from site visitors which are, unlike people visiting some of my other sites, always supportive, always very polite and positive. I was asked many questions, among others if Rhapsody is going to be updated and redesigned. The answer is yes! Expect many many positive changes to RinG. I've grown up and matured a lot and, compared to the person who started this project as some sort of mourning; today I'm pretty happy to say that I'm ready to, with help from people who've seen more than I did/who know more than I do, turn this into a real archive. Now I've also found a way to upload videos (bless a friend with satellite broadband in her office) and maintain the site contents in a way that's easier to use and load, so, expect positive changes very soon, but be patient. I've gone through a tough period of a young adult's life and I'm still recovering from it. I have not done anything illegal, rebellous or spectacular, it was just...life. And it was overwhelming and tough.
